Engineering programmes.Air University made in 2002 in capital city
islamabad and its second campus made in southern punjab city multan in
2011 but not working yet and starts its education soon .main objectives
of Air University are to provide education to students with full of
research and creats diamonds for nations.Air University Islamabad is
fully recognised by HEC and PEC. Air University Islamabad now a days are
giving education on Aero space Engineering and technologies,great
knowlege in
Applied Physics
,aero crafts programme Avionics Engineering,
fully skilled teachers giving Business Administration and
Computer Sciences education to students,
major fields of Electrical Engineering

Allama Iqbal Open University
Allama Iqbal Open University, one of the mega universities of the world. The doors of this mega university are open for each and every citizen of Pakistan and even for the foreigners living in the territory of Pakistan . In terms of students' enrolment, it is truly the largest university of the country. This university provides education of international standard at the doorsteps of the students with an affordable cost. The fee structure of this university is perhaps the lowest as compared to the fee structures of other universities in the country.AIOU is perhaps the only University where you can continue your education along with your job, business and domestic responsibilities. Women are especially encouraged to get admission to the programs of AIOU. A number of educational programs have especially been structured for female population. Bahria University Islamabad
Pakistan Navy established Bahria Institute at Islamabad and Karachi
in the late eighties. These Institutes were aimed at providing quality
and uninterrupted education up to Intermediate level, to the children
of naval personnel on their transfer from one station to another and
in turn to contribute to the cause of promotion of education at the
national level. Over the years these Institutes grew in size and
facilities, leading to the starting of BBA and B.Sc(CS) classes in
1995.
These programs have since been upgraded to BBA (Hons),
BCS (Hons) and MBA, MCS Programs which were introduced in Fall 1997 as
'evening programs' run under the management of two independent
'Institutes' one each at Karachi and Islamabad respectively. The
institutes are known as "Bahria Institute of Management and Computer
Science" short title "BIM&CS" suffixed with the location i.e.
Karachi or Islamabad.
Comstas University
COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) started its
journey in 1998, and established its first campus at Islamabad in April
1998. In August 2000, in recognition of CIIT's achievements, the Federal
Government granted it the status of a Degree Awarding Institute (DAI)
through promulgation of its charter. The CIIT, besides its principal
campus at Islamabad, has six other fully functional campuses at Lahore,
Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari, while six more campuses at
Gujrat, Kotli, Karachi, Larkana, Quetta, and Peshawar are in the works.
The CIIT is also exploring opportunity for opening an overseas campus in
the Gulf region.
The CIIT is now slated for up gradation as a university by the name of ‘COMSATS University’ through an Act of the Parliament.
Federal Urdu University of Arts,
Science and Technology Islamabad
The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and technology enjoys the unique distinction of being the first ever university in Pakistan which ultimately aims at using Urdu as main feature of instruction and teaching.
The university started functioning in November 2002 by taking over two federal government colleges namely Federal Urdu science college, Karachi which were established in 1949 by Baba-e-Urdu Dr.Abdul Haq whose mission was only to promote Urdu as teaching and also for Urdu language as national language.
He remains struggling till his last moment of life.

The Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) has been established as a private sector university. It is sponsored by the Fauji Foundation which is the largest welfare organization in the country having vast human and financial resources.The Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) was granted the Charter by the Federal Government vide Ordinance No. LXXXVIII of 2002 as promulgated by the President of Pakistan and notified in the Gazette of Pakistan. The University has been established as a center of excellence to provide quality education of international standards to the talented students.

Islamic International University Islamabad
The foundation of the Islamic University, Islamabad was laid on the first day of the fifteenth century Hijrah i.e. Muharram 1, 1401 (November 11,1980). This landmark of the beginning of the new Century symbolizes the aspirations and hopes of the Muslim Ummah for an Islamic renaissance. The university was created to produce scholar and practitioners who are imbued with Islamic ideology, whose character and personality conforms to the teachings of Islam, and who are capable to cater to the economic, social, political, technological and intellectual needs of the Muslim Ummah. Islamic Research Institute and few other units like Iqbal International Institute for Research & Dialogue, Dawah Academy, Shariah Academy and Institute of Professional Development are situated within the premises of majestic Faisal Mosque (spread over an area of 189,705 square meters) which is a symbol of International Islamic brotherhood and unity. In conformance with the Islamic precepts, the university provides academic services to men and women through separate campuses for each segment. These campuses, along with the central library, administrative wing and hostels, are located in sector H-10.
National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences
The sponsoring body of the University – the Foundation for Advancement of Science and Technology (FAST) was established in 1980. It is registered with the Government of Pakistan as a charitable institution. In 1985, it selected higher education as a vehicle to pursue its objective of producing scientists and technologists of the highest caliber. FAST pioneered the development of IT industry in Pakistan by offering the country’s first undergraduate program in Computer Science. Today, this University, sponsored by FAST, stands recognized as the leader and trend-setter in this field in Pakistan and abroad.
